They have extra thickness for comfort that no one should/shall complain about... Suede is amazing on the footbed(not the most ideal for fishing, but I still give 5stars on these 'fish flops' as that would be the only minor reason to give 4/5 stars). I have a pair for the boat only, and another I wear out casually due to my own demands. One of the comfiest sandals I've owned ever, not just for boating. Great support too for my flat feet!!! Bottom sole is specifically made for boating, something I truly appreciate in a fishing sandal... I wear flops 90% of the time when I fish, and I can't be sliding around the boat deck in poor seas, so I demand a flop that has the right 'non-slip' sole...

These sandals exceeded my expectations. When ordering a pair of sandals online you never really know what to expect but these are great. The suade on top and arch support make them nicely comfortable. If these sandals last as long as my pair of Rainbows, I doubt I will be buying another pair of Rainbows because these were broken in instantly, are more comfortable and rival the price
